The latest addition to the Andrea Boldrini range, the AIGLE is an evolution of the Gecko model, designed to deliver increased support and performance.
Ultra-soft, it is clearly positioned in the indoor bouldering and lead climbing segment, perfectly conforming to every hold and volume while facilitating the quick foot changes required by this discipline.
Its two-piece outsole provides targeted rigidity and support on small footholds, making it suitable for outdoor use as well.
Its highly downturned shape and pronounced toe give remarkable power when loading on the front of the shoe, especially on overhangs.
To prevent deformation of the rubber wrapping on downturned lasts during toe loading, the AIGLE features the FCS outsole (No Edge).
This prevents the foot from extending beyond the sole, eliminating unwanted slipping and maintaining constant contact between the shoe and the rock throughout the foot movement on the hold.
The result is increased range of motion and optimized on-sight climbing performance.
The yellow resin-coated rubber heel ensures effective heel hooking, while the deliberately moderate tension band allows the shoe to be worn either comfortably or more tightly, depending on personal preference.
Its clean and sporty design fully reflects the minimalist spirit sought by the designer.
Like all models in the AB range, the AIGLE stands out for its excellent comfort, thanks to meticulous construction and a premium 100% microfiber upper that is soft to the touch and does not stretch over time.
The dual rear pull tabs make it easy to put on.
A coherent and well-balanced model, where each technology serves a precise technical purpose, ensuring optimal performance for indoor and outdoor bouldering.
The outsole has been specially designed to simplify resoling: replacing only the worn section reduces costs by at least 20%.
