The Apache 5 is a shoe designed for bouldering, overhangs, and slabs. It combines a maximum of technologies for a unique shoe offering optimal comfort.
One of the only shoes in the world that is equally suited to overhanging AND slabs thanks to its FCS (edge-free) sole: built on a highly arched last for more power on overhangs, it does not deform at the toe during grip moves and therefore offers permanent contact between the toe and the rock. The Apache 5 is a climbing shoe packed with advanced technology.
Its Z-shaped Velcro closure ensures quick and even tightening. The FCS no-edge sole provides more surface contact, allowing you to climb steeper angles with increased freedom of movement while maintaining the sensitivity of a traditional sole.
Built on a highly downturned last, its redesigned toe cap delivers powerful performance on overhangs and offers greater support. The X-Tension heel cup keeps the foot securely in place laterally and ensures solid toe hooking.
For comfort, the Apache 5 has no overlapping materials—just like a sock—eliminating pressure points. Its upper is made from 100% premium microfibre for exceptional comfort and enhanced durability. An elastic tongue improves breathability and gives a glove-like fit, while the heel construction provides moderate support.
This shoe is vegan and sustainable (resoleable multiple times) to help reduce its environmental impact.
Highly technical yet comfortable, the Apache 5 is designed for bouldering—especially outdoors—while also suiting climbers seeking an ultra-comfortable model.
Customization available: different right and left feet can be ordered.
